Quick Tips for Traveling abroad during Covid

I have had several questions about traveling to Europe during covid. The quick answer is that it took a lot of logistics and paperwork, but the process was relatively simple overall. Below are some tips that we found helpful.

2. Make sure you have all the necessary documents and apps downloaded and complete prior to travel. In our case we needed separate documents for Ireland, Netherlands, and the UK. We had a file folder with all out documents. My husband/travel organizer gets 5 stars for his role in this.
3. We had to get a covid test prior to coming back to the states. We asked at our hotel and they gave us a place around the corner. Whole process took less than 5 minutes. Most big cities will have many many places to test so do not stress about this.
4. Lastly, even though we had to jump through a few hoops to get to Europe, the process was easy once we were there. It is all about being organized and prepared.
